• Account to be operated singly.
• Local credits allowed to the extent of proceeds received from permissible investments made from the account.
• Account to be opened in 48 hours if everything is in order.
• Mobile Banking App and Debit Card Available on Pak Rupee and USD currency Account.
• Accounts are based on the concept of Qard.

Note:In case of any discrepancy in the documents, customers will be informed through email or Video/Recorded call for rectification and will need to send the missing / additional or amended documents. ​​

Documents Required

Please note that you will need to submit the following documents along with your Islamic Account Opening Form.​

• Scanned CNIC/ NICOP/ POC
• Scanned Passport (first 2 pages) (Pakistani and/or other Nationality Passport)
• Proof of Non Resident Pakistani status (e.g. scanned copy of Resident Permit, Valid Iqama, Valid Visa, other Nationality Passport, etc.)
• Proof of Profession and Source of Income/ Funds e.g. Salary Slip, Salary certificate, complete tax return or Income Letter on your company letterhead (if self employed / Businessman) etc. (in English) (not older than 3 months)
• Signature specimen on plain paper
• Live Photo

Additional Information

• Customers may also be contacted online or through video call by an HBL representative for due diligence. The online verification session will be recorded for quality assurance​​.​
